Bulgari Resort – Bali, Indonesia Yoga
My first trip to Bali was magical. It was nestled right in the middle of a month-long exploration of Asia, my very first time in the East. The trip began in Miami, our first stop was Hong Kong via LA, then Bali (10 days), followed by Singapore & Tokyo. Our itinerary was the perfect blend of exploring bustling high-energy cities as well as glimpses of peace & serenity that the East is so well known for.
We split our time in Bali between 3 properties spread between the coast & the interior rice paddies. This post highlights my experience at the Bulgari Resort in Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia.
Naturally Balinese culture is seeped in conscious healthy farm to table food, spirituality, ritual & sacrifices in all aspects of their day to day.
I was exposed to new exotic fruits each day & various alters lined the property to remind the Balinese to pray, these simple reminders helped me shift my focus into the present moment. I felt myself begin to pause & reflect, expressing gratitude in a deeper way for things I’d normally expect, such as each sunrise & sunset. If you’ve been thinking of making your own eat, pray, love pilgrimage to Bali, I hope this will inspire you to book your flight, the time is now.
I was very fortunate to indulge in daily yoga sessions led by a master teacher in the most blissful gorgeous setting
